Maine Prince is a successful Marketing and Business Development Professional with nearly 20 years of experience within Corporate America and small businesses in various industries utilizing advertising campaigns, media buying, media training, public relations, human resources, relationship marketing, event planning, professional development training, sponsorship acquisition, contract negotiations, and other types of initiatives. In addition, he is a Certified Contract Advisor and Business Manager primarily for professional athletes participating in football and basketball. He has also been the sports performance trainer to over 200 professional athletes, previously owning Philadelphia Sports Training Center, an 85,000-square-foot sports performance training facility for athletes playing professionally, in college, high school, and Weekend Warriors. The facility was sold in 2011, for X amount of dollars and is now a huge movie studio called Sun Center Studios. He is a well-versed professional in diverse industries with impressive longtime clients, he has a passion for the best of both worlds in sports and in business.

Following graduation from high school at Bishop Walsh Catholic High School, Maine chose Pennsylvania State University after considering the University of Illinois, University of Maryland, Georgetown University, DUKE University, Brown University, University of North Carolina, West Virginia University, and Florida State University. He chose Penn State, in part, from the relationship he developed with the coaching staff during the recruitment period and from the capability to broaden his learning objectives in business from the SMEAL College of Business and inspiration from a sports program with a drive for excellence in execution. His passion for education, business, and sports are grounded in discipline, teamwork, and community.

Maine has significant experience in marketing and business development starting from his entry into Corporate America as a Marketing Manager at The Testor Corporation, located in Rockford, Illinois northwest of Chicago. At the same time, he served as a Sports Director for the million-dollar expansion of the Rockford YMCA to develop youth and adult sports. Shortly thereafter, he was sought-after by Rockford Christian High School due to the newly built million-dollar secondary education school for the 7th - 12th grades. We served in multiple capacities as the Director of New Business Development and were responsible for fundraising for the Capital Building Campaign for the sports teams, new locker rooms, renovated sports fields, and uniforms, to which he was able to raise approximately $2M from local and national businesses. While the majority of Maine’s practice involves mergers and acquisitions, he also has public relations experience, which includes press releases for the Associated Press and acting as an on-air personality.

Maine started the Rockford Lions Football Team, a minor league football team with a financial investment from local businessmen of $2M to build a new stadium, practice fields, indoor facility, and uniforms for approximately 75 young men interested in playing professional football. He also served as a Special Consultant for the original Extreme Football League (XFL) with the Chicago Enforcers Football Team. After selling the Rockford Lions, he moved to the Philadelphia area to be closer to his Godson and began a partnership with Olympic Trial Participant and Penn State All-American Track Star, Antonio Davis, on his venture Aspiring Champions Sports Performance Training Center. Simultaneously, he was able to draft and negotiate marketing and endorsement contracts for professional athletes on request. Which led to the opportunity as a business manager for a nearly dozen NFL players, as well as serving as a sports performance coach. His knowledge of sports performance training and tenacity for business has given him a wide range of opportunities.

Following the sale of the land and building for Philadelphia Sports Training Center, Maine focused on the growth of Prince Management Group through relationships built with three of the BIG 4 Accounting firms, Grant Thornton, KPMG, Deloitte, and in the legal community. He was acquired as the Legal Marketing & Business Development Director for Kane & Associates Law Firm, LLC to handle the division of Experts by Experts, which recruits, hires, trains, and places Expert Witness in legal cases nationwide in pharmacy, forensics, personal injury, negligence, science, and technology cases. He has built fundraising campaigns with Sponsorship Acquisition for BIG Brothers | BIG Sisters nonprofit for the Celebrity BIG Black Tie Gala featuring Christopher Gardner, the Inspiration for the movie, “The Pursuit of Happiness” starring Will Smith, a local Philadelphia native who just happens to be a personal contact from involvement with Overbook High School, Will Smith’s alma mater. Maine is always developing and growing year after year.

Maine has a passion for helping clients with an all-around comprehensive approach to resolving challenges and maximizing revenue-generating opportunities. He has built relationships with a few billionaires such as Warren Buffet, owner of Berkshire Hathway, who also owns WheelsUp, the membership-based charter plane company and Mr. Buffet serves as the mentor for Sean “Jay-Z” Carter, the owner of Roc Nation Sports, a sports agency. Maine connected frequently with the late Ed Snider, owner of Comcast, who also owns the Philadelphia Flyers (NHL) and (previously) the Philadelphia Sixers (NBA). Mr. Snider was a mentor to Maine, while he was contracted as General Manager for Summit Sports Training Center - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, where Maine opened one of the four (4) locations of the Sports Performance Training Facilities that housed the patented Frappier Acceleration Treadmills, ground-based and ice hockey platform. Maine also built a relationship and was mentored by David Tepper owner of Appaloosa Management L.P., the $13 billion dollar financial advisory firm, previously the owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL) and now the current owner of the Carolina Panthers (NFL). Maine has also established a connection with Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks (NBA), who also owns 2929 Entertainment LLC and Magnolia Pictures Film Company. Mr. Cuban recently joined investment with Philadelphia’s own Kevin Hart on the purchase of Black Sands Entertainment, a publisher of comic books and anime short films.  He also has connected with Christopher Gardner, the self-made billionaire a previous financial advisor and inspiration for the movie “The Pursuit of Happyness”, and also with Suze Orman, another self-made billionaire that built her empire in the financial industry and educating others on the best practices for financial management. Maine is comfortable with relationship marketing with billionaires, C-Suite Executives, and Partners in Legal Profession, as much as he connects with Small Business Owners and Black-Owned-Business Owners.

Maine became passionate about helping prospective professional athletes primarily in football and basketball as university postgraduates. He participated in four (4) NFL training camps with the Washington Redskins, Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, and Chicago Bears. He has been involved with the Maxwell Awards, Ron Jaworski Celebrity Golf Outing, American Football Coaches Association, and several nonprofit organizational management.

Maine is most excited about his two (2) sons, Justin Anthony Prince (13YO) and Maine Prince (10YO), who are the light of his life, they reside in South Jersey, just outside of Philadelphia, PA. Maine’s hobbies are deck construction building for neighbors and friends, traveling, sewing, outdoors activities, being at the beach in Jersey - Miami - or Los Angeles, and spending quality time with friends.
