Developed and delivered dynamic and straightforward educational seminars for approximately 840 participants at Grant; Thornton LLP (a BIG 4 Accounting Firm):
- Researched industry history, trends, and regulations.
- Created seminar outline and support materials for RFPs, white papers, case studies, knowledge management;
- Provided ongoing coaching and guidance to marketing associates
- Revenue results: approximately 960 billable hours of accounting at $768,000.00

 


Conducted sales & marketing training seminars for Small Business Development Center for approximately 200 participants at Temple University Incubator Program in 2009:
- Presented a sales training protocol to be used in variety of industries for new business owners / entrepreneurs.
- Achieved the highest attendance rates over 300% from previous programs offered.
- Took on the role of Marketing Chair to assist incubator attendees with in-house marketing consulting.

   


Collaborated with marketing associates to design and strategize marketing collateral to improve professionalism and productivity of the New Focus Campaign for KPMG LLP (a BIG 4 Accounting Firm) in 2008:
- Assessed needs, developed training strategy, method of delivery, and support package.
- Reviewed the results orchestrated improvements into further training, coaching, Train-the-Trainers sessions.
- Maintaining deal databases and recording matters for precedent, marketing, and business development purposes.
- Revenue results: generated approximately $560,000.00

   


Motivational Speaker, Monster Worldwide, Inc. with Making It Count; Nationwide:
Monster's Making It Count Programs is an educational organization in the business of improving lives.
- The object was to educate, motivate and empower students and professionals, young and old, employed and unemployed through live presentations, online tools and printed resources.
- Presentation to over 25,000 attendees. The program provides information needed to achieve academic and career success.

   

Director of Football Operations at Rockford College in Rockford, Illinois (northwest of Chicago):
- handling the operations of logistics for the football team and also responsible for mass distribution
of marketing collateral to promote the inaugural season to over 5,000 high schools.
- Created branding materials using graphic design and weekly distribution of email blasts to 5,000 athletic directors/coaches.
- Planned and implemented a successful recruiting campaign to secure attendees for pop-up recruiting events regionally.
- Results: increased submitted recruiting questionnaires by 400% and maxed applications submissions within three months.

   


Marketing Chairperson: Temple Small Business Development Center; Philadelphia, PA
- Work with small business owners on their marketing campaigns to promote their business and increase their revenue streams with development of websites, initiatives, research analysis, data analysis, and assist in collaboration of presentation at weekly and monthly meetings as a liaison with SCORE and small to medium sized business owners.

   


Vice President; Philadelphia School District Board of Athletics Recreation; Philadelphia, PA
- Improve the development of high school student-athletes among the 87 high schools in Philadelphia County by enhancing the quality and standards of athletes to have the opportunity to play their respective sport in college after graduating from high school.

   


Board President; NAACP Program called ACT-So (Academic Cultural Technical & Scientific Olympics)
- This is a yearlong enrichment program designed to encourage high academic and cultural achievement among underserved minority high school students founded in 1978 in Portland, Oregon.
- Provides a forum through which African American youth demonstrate academic, artistic and scientific prowess and expertise, often gaining recognition reserved for entertainers and athletes.

   



Director of Marketing & Business Development for Kane & Associates Law Firm developing Experts by Experts Division
• Business Development Support:
- Created and implemented strategies to grow the firm, providing support and follow through on all business development sales initiatives. Research prospective clients from initiatives, preparing attorney action plans, managing the website, and preparing client proposals.
• Market and Competitive Intelligence:
- Collaborated with other local law firm resources in connection with current client activity, as well as background on competitors and prospective clients for business development purposes done through research, surveying, conducting polls, and focus groups.
• Brand and Visibility in Support of Business Development:
- Supported and worked in conjunction with the Practice Group Manager as well as other members of practice group(s) including the Practice Group Administrator, marketing communications and public relations professionals to generate content, create and implement practice/industry-specific marketing materials, as well as identify, pitch, and leverage public and media opportunities.
• Target and Lead Generation:
- Work directly with practice group(s) members to identify, pre-qualify and support the development of new business leads and prospects. This included customized pitches with power point presentations and copywriting content for specific target market and practice areas.
• Pipeline Management: Encourage use of CLIO, Legal Practice Management Software System since being launched in 2008 for tracking and maintaining action on leads and progress by practice group(s) members across various business development activities, and oversee and monitor follow-up efforts.
• Pitches/Proposals:
- Work with practice group(s) members and the Pursuit Team to respond to Requests for Proposals (RFP) and/or Request for Information (RFI) to ensure that responses present a consistent and up-to date message by customizing to each prospects needs and inquiries.
• Seminars and Events: Work directly with practice group(s) members and the event resources to develop and implement client-facing events for clients and prospects on a regional level thru offices in Trenton, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; and in Miami, FL.
- Conducted external seminars and symposiums where practice groups capabilities could be featured. Includes drafting content, agenda, speakers, and trade shows.
• Market and Competitive Intelligence:
- Collaborate with other firm resources in connection with current client activity, as well as background on competitors and prospective clients for business development purposes. This includes attending networking functions and ushering firm attorneys.
• Leverage Marketing Technology: Effectively use marketing technology tools such as SalesForce (CRM) and CLIO to increase prospect identification and internal information sharing.
